Your Account
Sign-up flow
- Enter your email and choose a password on the registration page.
- Corvid sends a confirmation email. Click the link to activate your account.
- Once confirmed, you can sign in and start creating searches.
If you prefer not to set a password, you can request a magic link on the sign-in page — Corvid emails you a one-time link that signs you in directly.
Password reset
If you forget your password, click Forgot password on the sign-in page. Enter your email and Corvid will send a reset link. The link expires after a short time; if it does you can request another.
You can also change your password while signed in: go to Settings → Profile → Change password.
Profile settings
In Settings → Profile you can:
- Set a display name — how Corvid addresses you in emails. Optional; your email is used if blank.
- View your account email (contact support to change it).
Delivery settings
In Settings → Delivery you can toggle email delivery, set a separate delivery address, and choose combined or per-source digests. See Email Digests for full details, including PGP encryption.
Security
Corvid stores only a bcrypt hash of your password — the plaintext is never retained. Session tokens are rotated on sign-in.
Signing out
Click your name in the top-right corner and choose Sign out. This invalidates your session token immediately.
Exporting your data
Your data is yours. In Settings → Account, click Export to download everything Corvid holds for you — your searches, feeds, matches, and digest history — as a single JSON file. One click, no confirmation dance, no waiting.
Deleting your account
Also in Settings → Account: deletion is self-serve and immediate — no waiting period, no support ticket. Type your account email to confirm, and Corvid permanently removes your account and everything attached to it (searches, feeds, matches, digest history, sessions). You'll receive a final confirmation email, and that's the last one.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone — if you think you might come back, consider exporting your data first, or simply pausing delivery instead.
