Email Digests
Corvid delivers new finds by email digest. You read results in the app anytime; the digest is how they come to you.
How digests work
On your account cadence (weekly on the free plan, daily on paid), Corvid collects everything new since your last digest and sends one email — grouped by source, searches first, newest finds first within each group. If a cycle turns up nothing new, no email is sent. No matches, no mail.
Your first digest covers at most one cadence period — the last day on a daily cadence, the last week on weekly. Older matches aren't lost; they're all visible in the app.
Delivery settings
In Settings → Delivery you can:
- Toggle email delivery on or off.
- Set a delivery email — a different address from your account email. Useful if you want digests going to a work inbox or an alias.
- Choose grouping:
- Combined (default) — one email per cycle covering all your searches and feeds.
- Per-source — a separate email per search or feed, so you can filter and file them individually in your mail client.
Pause links
Every digest email includes:
- A one-click unsubscribe link (also honored automatically by mail clients that support one-click unsubscribe). This pauses digest delivery for your account — it never deletes anything. Re-enable delivery anytime in Settings.
- Per-source pause links in the footer — stop hearing about one search or feed without touching the rest, straight from the email.
PGP encryption
If you handle sensitive topics, Corvid can encrypt digest emails to your PGP public key. Paste your ASCII-armored public key in Settings → PGP Key — Corvid shows the key's fingerprint so you can verify it saved correctly.
Two things to know:
- Encryption is fail-closed. Once a key is on file, Corvid will never fall back to plaintext — if a digest can't be encrypted for any reason, it is not sent, and those finds roll into the next successful digest (and remain visible in the app).
- Only Elgamal (algorithm 16) keys are currently supported. If your key uses another algorithm (RSA, ECC), Corvid will tell you when you try to save it.
